AAA: Room8 App

The ROOM8 App is an initiative lead by the Innovation Leadership of CSAA Insurance Group to help Millennial and Gen Z renters on their path to finding their ideal rental living situation.

 

Katie partnered with the CSAA Insurance Group’s Innovation initiative leadership team to define the ROOM8 brand and develop a strategic roadmap during beta testing and pilot stages. From development of the user interface, brand guidelines and visual elements to establishing its presence on the Apple Store and across social media channels, Katie breathed life into the brand and spurred a proven, viable product that would solve one of the hardest issues of being a young adult: finding a place to live.

 

To connect the brand with its base, several brand activations and pop up events were launched across Bay Area college campuses (including the University of California Berkeley, Stanford, the University of San Francisco and San Francisco State University), as well as a promotional partnership forged with Lyft, a mobile vehicle for hire app, offering discounted rides to ROOM8 subscribers.​
